Tyler Lincoln, 15, 125GP racer, Havelock North.

My name is Tyler Lincoln, I am 14 years old and I am currently racing 125GP, with coaching help from Steve Bagshaw and Moto Academy NZ. My riding is improving a lot thanks to the help from Steve. I was also racing Streetstock150 last year and was getting helped out by Steve, it really made an improvement in my lap times and riding to the point of being able to move up to the 125GP class. I rode one of the Moto Academy NZ RS125's at the last two rounds of the 2012 New Zealand Superbike Championships and I set the fastest lap time in the rain on the 125 at the last round in Taupo.

Mihi Banks, 15, Streetstock 150 racer, Titahi Bay, Wellington.

I have loved being a part of Moto Academy NZ. It has given me the skill and confidence through Steve's coaching to improve my riding and results. I got so much out of it in my first year that I came back again this year.

Andrew Presant; Vice President Racing and Clerk of the Course, Victoria Motorcycle Club of Wellington:

"I would highly recommend Moto Academy NZ if you actually want to go faster, safer, and understand how to keep improving. He has done wonders with the Victoria Motorcycle Club Development Group. Classroom and trackside; his knowledge and training methods have empowered young and older alike."

Clive Banks, President 2010 and 2012, Victoria Motorcycle Club of Wellington:

I’ve been involved in Motorcycle racing for over a decade. When my teenage daughters decided they wanted to be racers too, I realised that they were too precious to risk learning the hard way, like I did. Moto Academy NZ has provided a structured, supportive and personalised environment, where they have grown from complete novices to safe and confident competitors. They now have a solid foundation of core skills and knowledge which Dr Bagshaw is nurturing. I have no doubt that they will soon be capable of competing at a National level.

Michael Reps; racer, business director Yeildqwest Ltd.

"Moto Academy NZ has been a great asset to the young and professionally oriented road racer. I have witnessed the riders focus and skills improve right before my eyes. Its a great program and I would recommend it to anyone who is serious about going faster and safer."

Robert Taylor, Technical Director, Kiwi Suspension Solutions.

"We are the exclusive NZ distributor for Ohlins and Race Tech suspension and have a heavy focus in road racing.  We are proud to be associated with Moto Academy NZ.  Steve provides a very valuable service for the NZ road racing community by fostering and mentoring young riding talent. Talent that has gone on to succeed in bigger capacity formulae. More recently our company has decided to work more closely with Steve as his focus, more so than any of his contemporaries, has a heavy focus on understanding machine set up. Such skills/understanding instilled during the more “tender” years of road racing proves invaluable as careers progress and should not be underestimated."
